Welcome my Brother's and Sister's Here you will learn about the Midi. A small
Country in the south of France. My family ruled this land for many years in
peace, love and understanding. There is so much history and so little space
here to tell about it. But lets start at the beginning. What does Raymond mean.
It is (Rex-a-medi) or King of the Medi. It is said that a Caroligian officer named
Fungual married a ferry and his son was named Raymond.
My family ruled till the middle of the fifteenth century, when the Holly Roman
Catholic Church and the French Monarchy conspired to do away with the Count
Dom. You can read about that in the Declaration. Some of you will say that this is
a lot to do about nothing. Time will prove me out and the seed that I plant here
will grow into a great power and do the one thing I have set out to do. This is
to correct a great wrong on a group called the Cathars. They were subjects of
my family, and were a God loving, kind, peaceful and generous people. A wrong
was done to them that should have never happened.
It was a crime, and it is my life's work to see that the one power that still exists
today makes an atonement for it. In time I would like to have a true history of
my land, and all that has happened in the land called Languedoc, so stay in touch.
